University College Worcester is located to the North of the suburb of St Johns. Worcester city centre is approx 1 mile from the campus and walkable in daylight via the river path. The city is reputed to be a safe, lively place at night.

There’s a large car park adjacent to the Co-op and various other stores including a fish & chip shop in the vicinity, too.

There are so many hotels and guesthouses in Worcester that we can’t possibly list them all. If you need a comprehensive listing, the website listed below in ‘Further Info’ is a good place to start. Camping /Caravan Sites

Just off the southern bypass (approx 3.5 miles from the UCW campus)
The camp site has good access and well spaced level pitches grassed with electric hook-ups available.
Onsite Facilities: Fishing, reception office, toilets/shower/washroom (key access) nearby there are pub/restaurants, fish and chips, takeaway and supermarket.
Caravans, Folding Campers, Tents, Trailer Tents and Motor Homes Welcome.
Mill House, Hawford, Worcestershire, WR3 7SE. 01905 451283 Nat. Grid: SO848601 Mill House , 3 miles to the north of the city (approx 4.75 miles from UCW campus). Mill House Caravan and Camping site is a family run site open from Easter to October. The site is level and grass. The main camping field is surrounded by a small river. Tents and Caravans (non-electric) occupy separate parts of the field. We are only three miles from the centre of historic Worcester.
Onsite Facilities – 100 Tourers/Motorhomes/Tents, 64 Hookups, 15 Statics None for Hire, Toilets, Showers, Chemical Disposal Point, Pets Allowed, Food Shop, Gas, Takeaway Food, Fishing.
Note that the Race Course campsite is no longer in operation.
Hostels
There are no YHA hostels in the Worcester area (the nearest is Malvern, approx. 10 miles away) But there is a YMCA hostel just around the corner from UCW.

The University Gym should be open during most of BiCon but will be closed on Monday 29th. Ask at main reception for details. (There is no swimming pool on site).
