The accommodation block at Worcester is now full and we are sorry, but we are unable to accept any further bookings. If your booking is still in the pipeline, we will refund your payment asap.
However, you’re still welcome to turn up to BiCon on the day & stay overnight in a local hotel or guesthouse. The Black Pear Guesthouse (Tel 01905 xxxxxx) is a local, bi-friendly establishment which has extended a warm welcome to BiCon attendees.
BiCon officially runs between 9.30 am on Friday 26th August & 12 midday Monday 29th. The BiCon reception desk will be open from 4pm – 10pm on Thursday 25th; from 9am-9pm on Friday, Saturday & Sunday; from 9am-1pm Monday. We will be opening the bar from 6pm-10.30pm on Thursday evening, during which time a few brief introductory sessions will also be scheduled.
Additional nights accommodation now available!
Although BiCon officially finishes at lunchtime on Monday, we’ve negotiated with the venue to allow BiCon attendees to book additional nights accommodation if they wish.
All bookings for additional nights must be made directly with University College Worcester before 6pm on the Monday evening when university security will be checking the vacated rooms.
To book additional nights, email "d.naylor at worc dot ac dot uk" or book at UCW reception during BiCon. Additional nights will be charged at £16.45 per person.
Pricing
BiCon aims to be as accessible as possible to everyone. For this reason, we operate a sliding scale based on income. We also have a helping hand fund which is able to help people who would otherwise not be able to afford to attend BiCon.
